FORMATION
Contra lines, 1, 3, 5, etc. couples crossed over
ACTIONS
* With your corner two-hand star (Each dancer faces his corner, and just those two
people make a right-hand star, turning one full turn and a little bit more to put
the ladies back to back in the center of the set)
* Two heel-and-toes and sashay four (Beginning with the lady's right foot and the
man's left, the facing dancers do a heel-and-toe, heel-and-toe then four sliding
steps (two-steps) in the same direction.)
* Two heel-and-toes and sashay four (Repeat the action moving in the opposite
direction, i.e., using the lady's left foot and the man's right.)
* Star thru, California twirl (use four counts for each movement)
* Promenade (The dancers, in couples, promenade in the direction they are facing
for eight counts. (One line of couples will move up the set. The other will move
down the set.)
* Wheel around and go back (The couples wheel around in four counts with the ladies
moving forward as the men back around. Then they promenade back until they meet the
couple that is made up of their own original partners. This should not be rushed.
The promenade should take four counts.)
* Half promenade (Upon meeting, the two couples identified above flow smoothly into
a half promenade to the opposite line where they will end facing each other across
the set. In the half promenade, the men pass left shoulders sweeping wide on the
courtesy turn in order to use the full 8-count musical phrase.)
* Right & left thru (The same two couples right & left thru using 8 counts of music,
ending the courtesy turn just in time to begin the sequence over again.)
