FIGURE
It's the first and third, you're right hand bound (lead to the right)
And circle four just half around, the inside high and the outside low
(inside arch and the outside under)
Join hands in the middle and circle half and then pass thru
To a right hand star with the outside two
Now back with a left down the same old lane
And break that star, head kittens chain
You chain 'em over and chain 'em back
As you snuggle and purr like a Puddy Cat
Then circle four with the outside two
You circle four and around you go
Now docey-doe and away you go
It's your corner with a right and back to the bar
And the four gents center like an allemande thar
And you back 'em up Toms but not too far
Now throw in the clutch on your Paddy Wagon
And the Toms go forward with your tail a-draggin'
You meet your Puddy and you pass her twice
Now meet your corner with a left allemande
And your Puddy with a right & left grand
It's a paw and a tail all around the ring
You meet your Puddy and give her a swing
And promenade with the dearl little thing
You promenade from where you're at
'Cause I taut I taw a little Puddy Cat
MIDDLE BREAK
You serenade 'em on the backyard gate
Then all join hands and circle eight
You circle eight and around you go
Now break right in with a docey-doe
Four little kittens on a heel and toe
It's eeny, meeny, miney and moe
You change 'em once and promenade
