two columns

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic - SSD Week 11

Four ladies promenade, go walking around you know
Box the gnat at home, swing your man and go
Join hands circle left, go moving round and then
Allemande left that corner, and weave around the ring
Weave in and out, out and in till you meet your maid
Swing your partner, promenade on home
Then I took her in my arms, I told her of her many charms
I kissed her while the fiddle played the Bonaparte's Retreat

FIGURE    Basic, corner progression

Head two couples square thru four hands around you go
Make a right hand star, when you meet that outside two you know
Heads star left in the middle, turn it full around
Same two go right & left thru, turn the girl you found
Swing thru and then, swing thru again
Swing that corner, promenade my friend
Then I took her in my arms, I told her of her many charms
I kissed her while the fiddle played the Bonaparte's Retreat
