two columns

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic

Dosado that corner girl, turn left hand with your own
Four little ladies grand chain straight across from home
Chain those ladies right on back, back to Jimmy Brown
Eight to the middle and come on back
Sides face, grand square
I sell the morning paper boy, my name is Jimmy Brown
Everybody knows that I am the newsboy of the town
Got no hat upon my head, no shoes upon my feet
You can hear me every morning upon the city street

FIGURE

1 & 3 you promenade full around that ring
2 & 4 you square thru, count four hands I sing
Curlique when you get there, then sweep 1/4 (Single Hinge) more
(The men are in the center of an OW after the 1/4 sweep)
Swing thru two by two, rock it up and back
Go right & left thru to face those two, then sweep a 1/4 right
(Have 2 lines of 4 after the sweep right in sequence with the corner lady as partner)
Allemande new corner, hey weave the ring tonight
I sell the morning paper boy, my name is Jimmy Brown
Promenade
You know that I am the newsboy of the town

FIGURE (ALTERNATE)    C4, corner progression
