(Windsor 4418 side A)   Bruce Johnson

two columns

OPENER    Basic - SSD Week 1

Why don'tcha say "hello!", why don'tcha dosado (partner?)
Now join up hands and circle eight, you know
Hey, stop that foolin' round and swing 'er boys, swing with your pet
Allemande left and then that grand ol' right and left
You won't be satisfied until she's by your side
A-promenadin' 'til that moment when
You'll say "hello!" and see her smile
and swing her in your arms again

FIGURE    C1, corner progression

Head couples promenade 3/4, that ain't far
Cut through the sides and form a right hand star
Now turn your corners by the left, your partners by the right
Go back and swing that corner, boys, with all your might
Four men will left hand star, and travel round the set
Now put your arm around the girl you just left
It's a star promenade, take her back home with you
Now balance out, then swing 'em 2 by 2

MIDDLE BREAK    Basic

Your corners dosado, now tell your own "hello!"
Now join up hands and circle left, you know
Hey, stop that messin' round and swing 'er boys, swing with your pet
Allemande left and then that grand ol' right and left
You won't be satisfied until she's by your side
A-promenadin' 'til that moment when
You'll say "hello!" and see her smile,
and swing her in your arms again

CLOSER    Basic

Your corners dosado, then tell your own "hello!"
And then ya swing 'er, boys, she's nice to know
Four ladies right hand star across and turn the opposite man
Gents star back 3/4 to a left allemande
It's grand ol' right and left, ya travel round the set
And when you meet you promenade with your pet
Promenade home and fellas you ought to know
Enough to swing your gal in calico
Then you step right back and say "hello!"

This record has vocals on both sides. Windsor #4118 has instrumental on both sides.
