two columns

OPENER - MIDDLE BREAK - CLOSER    Basic

Sashay round your corner girl come back home and swing and whirl
In those Oklahoma Hills where I was born
Allemande left your corner maid, come back home and swing and sway
Now you promenade around that ring you go
Well a way down yonder in an Indian nation square dance calling is my occupation
Take her home and give her a great big swing
Now dosado that corner girl, now come back home you swing and whirl
In those Oklahoma Hills where I was born

FIGURE

Now 1st and 3rd (2nd and 4th) to the right lead out
Two ladies chain now turn about, now chain right back and face the same old two
Now circle 4 and around you go, now break it up with a dosado
Now chicken in the bread pan picking out southern dough
Now hurry up boys and you don't be late, now all join hands and circle 8
Now circle left and around the ring you go
All eight to the center with a left hand star, move it around but not too far
Now back with the right it's on your heel and toe
Well the girls reach back with your left hand it's allemande left and a right & left grand
It's a right and left around the ring you go
Now when you meet that pretty little maid just take her by the hand and you promenade
In those Oklahoma Hills where I was born
