Makes 42 mice

Ingredients:

Preheat oven to 325° F

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, almond and vanilla. When creamy slowly mix in flour. Refrigerate mixture 1 hour.
  2. Roll dough into 1 1/2" elongated balls, pinch to form back. Use chopped raisins for eyes and peanuts for ears. With a toothpick make hole in back for tail.
  3. Bake for 9-12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and immediately insert licorice laces into holes for tails.
  4. Cool

Cookies can be made larger - cook additional minute or 2.
