From a Wave of more than 4 dancers (e.g., a Tidal Wave), Facing Lines of 3 or more, or from other applicable formations.

1. Those who can Right Arm Turn 1/2;
2. those who can Left Arm Turn 1/2.

Ends in a Wave of more than 4 dancers.

From Facing Lines of 4:       before Grand Swing Thru   after Right Arm Turn 1/2   after (Center 6) Left Arm Turn 1/2 (done)

From Left-Hand Wave of 6:       before Grand Swing Thru   after (Center 4) Right Arm Turn 1/2   after Left Arm Turn 1/2 (done)

Notes:

• Always start with the Right hand.
• From a Wave of 8 or Facing Lines of 4, Swing Thru is done on each side whereas Grand Swing Thru has some dancers working across and ending on the other side of the set.
  • Swing Thru is a 4-dancer call. Dancers stay within their group of 4.
  • Grand Swing Thru allows dancers to work outside of their group of 4.

Grand Left Swing Thru (or Left Grand Swing Thru): From a Wave of more than 4 dancers, Facing Lines of 3 or more, or from other applicable formations. Those who can Left Arm Turn 1/2; those who can Right Arm Turn 1/2. Ends in a Wave of more than 4 dancers.
