    I would like to set up a series of numbers and copy it onto a disc, to be printed on another printer. Can I do it, and how?

    I'm not sure whether you want to print a Static rotation, Dynamic rotation, or Cards.
    (My guess it that you want 'Cards').

    In any case, the procedure is similar.

    For standard computer Cards,

    1. From the main menu, press the 'Cards' button;
    2. Enter a header (to be displayed at the top of each card) [e.g., the dance name and/or date];
    3. Set the destination to 'Text file';
    4. Un-check the 'Printer' check box;
    5. If desired, modify the 'characters per line' and 'lines per page';
    6. Set the couple range and number of tips. The couple range indicates the range for the number of couples expected at the dance. For instance, if you expect 8 to 10 squares, the couple range might be 25 to 50. In this case, a card would be generated for couples 1 thru 50; the couple range determines how many columns are placed across the top of the card.
    7. Click the 'Print' button;
    8. A dialog box prompts for the location of the file to be created. Enter a filename and click the 'Save' button.

    For a Static or Dynamic rotation,

    1. From the main menu, press either the 'Dynamic' or the 'Static' button;
    2. Generate the rotation;
    3. if a Static rotation, click the 'Print...' button;
    4. if a Dynamic rotation , select 'File | Print...' from the menu.
    5. The 'Print Rotation' dialog box appears;
    6. Select the desired contents to be printed (e.g., Couple name table, Square number table, and Square contents table) by checking the appropriate check boxes;
    7. Set the destination to 'Text file';
    8. Un-check the 'Printer' check box;
    9. If desired, modify the 'characters per line' and 'lines per page';
    10. Click the 'Print' button.
    11. A dialog box prompts for the location of the file to be created. Enter a filename and click the 'Save' button.

    After creating a file using either of the above procedures,

    1. Copy the file to another computer;
    2. Invoke a word-processor or text editor and load the file;
    3. If using a word-processor, be sure the text is in a fixed-pitch (mono-spaced) font such as Courier;
    4. Print the file;
    5. After printing the file, you may find that the lines on the page don't quite line up correctly. If this is the case, edit the file to add extra blank lines, or change the font size as appropriate.
