| Other Information | It is with great discouragement that I announce that the 2013 Central New York Square Dance Festival is
cancelled due to a low number of registrants.
Even though the national dancing population isn't what it used to be, the local clubs are dancing three
to four times as many dancers compared to five years ago. My goal was to start an annual event that
would bring some of the best callers in the world to our area. Fortunately, I was able to offer this on
a budget that I could manage, and the number of dancers needed to cover expenses was very reasonable.
However, the number of registrants was about half of what was needed. |
