T-Bone Concept -- [C1]
 C1:

 Language:

T-Bone is a name given to any (usually rectangular) setup in which at least one dancer's facing direction is 90 degrees off relative to another dancers' facing direction. The word 'T-Bone' is typically not said unless the caller wishes to emphasize that the dancers should pay attention. EN: 10

When doing calls from T-Bone formations, do your part of the given call. Assume that dancers T-Boned to you are facing in whatever direction is necessary for you to do your part of the call. Usually, you will not interact much with those who are T-Boned to you, and the call may feel quite different than when done from a normal setup. EN: 20

Examples of T-Bone formations: EN: 30

When executing Circulates (and calls involving Circulates) the Lead dancers who make a loop as part of their traffic pattern must move around the outside of any dancers who are moving straight ahead. This means that some dancers may pass Right-Shoulders while other dancers may pass Left-Shoulders. Be careful to pass the correct shoulder since the caller could fractionalize the call. EN: 70

Notes:
• When done from T-Bones, calls that normally end in Lines often end in Diamonds and vice-versa. EN: 80
• Be very precise with your positioning when doing calls from T-Bones. Make sure your formations are compact and that you are directly lined up with a wall. EN: 90
