Definitions of Square Dance Calls and Concepts -- Ignore CONCEPT [C1V]

There are two different uses of the Ignore CONCEPT. EN: 10

In both cases the ignored dancers do not move. EN: 20

I båda fallen skall de dansare som 'ignoreras' inte röra sig. SE: 20

Fall 1:: Active dancers work around the ignored dancer, not taking into account the ignored dancer's position (e.g., In Roll Circulate, Out Roll Circulate, Triangle Circulate, etc...). This is the same as 'pretend that the ignored dancer doesn't exist, work in the resulting distorted setup (all real dancers) and do the given call'. EN: 30

De aktiva dansarna arbetar runt den ignorerade dansaren och räknar inte med den ignorerade dansarens position (t.ex, In Roll Circulate, Out Roll Circulate, Triangle Circulate, etc...). Detta är samma som att 'låtsas att den ignorerade dansaren inte existerar och man arbetar i den resulterande distorderade uppställningen och (all riktiga dansare) gör det givna callet'. SE: 30
Fall 2:: Active dancers do their part of the given call, taking into account the ignored dancer's position. This is the same as 'Everybody except the Ignored dancers Do Your Part of the given call'. This is the most common usage of the Ignore CONCEPT. EN: 40

De aktiva dansarna gör sin del av det givna callet och räknar med den ignorerade dansarens position. Detta är samma som att 'Alla gör sin del utom de ignorerade dansarna av det givna callet'. Detta är den vanligaste användningen av Ignore CONCEPT. SE: 40
