As one movement, the Ends

1. Step Forward;
2. Turn 1/4 toward the Center of the 4-dancer formation;
3. Step Forward.

That is, Ends do the Ends part of Bend The Line.

From a One-Faced Line:     before Ends Bend   after	From a Wave:     before Ends Bend   after
From Inverted Lines:     before Ends Bend   after	From Facing Lines:     before Ends Bend   after The Centers need to back up to allow for Square Breathing.
From Funny Diamonds:     before Ends Bend   after
From a 1 x 8:     before Ends Bend   after

Notes:

• Only the Ends are active on Ends Bend. Centers do not move (except to allow for square breathing, such as when Ends Bend is called from Facing Lines -- in which case, Centers back up to allow the Ends to get into the middle).
• The Ends can Roll. This is because the definition contains the phrase 'as one movement'.
• If both Ends start facing the same direction, they must be facing each other upon completion of the call.
• A common mistake dancer make on Ends Bend is to do a 1/4 In instead. Be sure to Step Forward, 1/4 In, then Step Forward again.
• The most common choreographic application of Ends Bend is from Out-Facing Lines. At A2, the most common follow-up calls for an Ends Bend are Split Square Thru (n) and Split Square Chain Thru.
• Ends Bend was originally named Bend The Ends.
