CSDS2 users: 

If you are having issues upgrading to the latest version, please do the following:

1) Close the CSDS2 program if it is open

2) Uninstall CSDS2 
   (e.g., Windows Start Button | Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program)   

3) Open a web broswer, navigate to https://www.ceder.net/csds2/

4) Download and save the latest csds2publishXXX.zip file (e.g., csds2publish280.zip) 
   to a temporary folder such as c:\temp (warning: downloading to the default 
   'downloads' folder may not allow you to unzip and/or run the setup program)
   
5) Unzip the downloaded file csds2publishXXX.zip  
   (i.e., extract all files from the zip file to a temporary folder)
   
6) Run the setup.exe file
   (if you get an error message, then you probably didn't uninstall the program properly)
   
7) Upon successful installation, CSDS2 2.80 (or later) will run.

8) You should not have to re-enter your user key.
   The program may download several files from the web.  
   
9) You might need to reset any shortcuts you have to the program.
   (this can be done inside the program via 'System | Create program shortcut...'.
   
10) Delete the temporary files

11) To make sure you've got the lastest version, inside the program select
    'System | Upgrade program from web'.
    
12) To make sure you've got the latest data files, inside the program select
    'System | Upgrade data files from web...'.  Select all files then press
    the 'Download' button.
    
13) To make sure you've got (additional) latest data files, inside the program select
    'System | Auto update from web...'.  Select all files then press
    the 'Update' button.
