This Wind in the Face get-out can be used when teaching the concept of "Leaders" to your dancers. After the second Wheel & Deal, dancers are not used to hearing the term "Leaders". The term "Centers" is more often used, or a designating term is dropped all together since some callers will argue that the only legal "Pass Thru" must happen in the center. Therefore centers are active.
The routine rotates the square clockwise 1 quadrant . Assuming you begin with a zero box oriented in the home quadrant (i.e. Square Thru from Squared Set), following with a Right & Left Grand leaves the bucket stirred when dancers complete and meet. If you want to begin at home and end at home, call the routine TWICE, and follow up with a Right & Left Grand. This will also allow everyone to be leaders in both formations: starting and completed double pass thru.
