I've been calling since 5-09. I belong to the Northeast Colorado Callers and Cuers Assoc. I prefer a flat fee. I believe everyone is entitled to try Square Dance. And it must be fun!!!

Club caller for the Rainbow Strollers. Calling since 1954;traditional, Easy level thru Mainstream. I specialize in the unique calls from the past and unusual formations and arrangements. My club "Fun Shops" prior to regular dances start when the first dancer arrives. I start with one and continue with innovative dances that will accommodate dancers as they arrive for the dance. I BELIEVE THAT NO DANCER SHOULD BE FORCED TO SIT OUT A DANCE!!!

I am also available for dances in other areas of Colorado. I believe that everyone regardless of martial status or age can enjoy Square and Round Dancing. I also enjoy dancing and cueing for the young (including the youth) dancers, as they are the source for the new dancers needed to continue this great activity.

Andrith and Michael are relatively new to cueing, but have been bringing their style to round dancing since 2012. They are the club caller and cuer for the Monarch Mavericks of Salida, Colorado, and enjoy working for clubs and events in Colorado, New Mexico and surrounding states. Their round dance style is "Dance the Fantasy," and they work to make the music visible on the floor. While Michael makes sense of the technology and partners in the teaching and demos, Andrith's lyrical cueing is unique, probably stemming from decades of singing in choirs. Their joy in the dance is obvious, and they bring humor and verve to a dance floor. Andrith and Michael take greatest pleasure in cueing for square dance events at square dance level. ROUND 'EM UP!

We do Weekends and Festivals, phases II thru VI, using our specialties of 1st) Fun and 2nd) Body Mechanics We provide Cue Sheet Writer (software) for Choreographers. We provide Festival Program Management (software) to build programs for evening dances up to full national conventions, and for all types of dance.

In my time in Square Dancing, I have come to believe that sometimes we lose sight of the reasons we started dancing in the first place, great music, good friends and tons of fun. That is why in my Calling, these are the most important ingredients in my performance.

Naaman Moorehouse started his calling career in 1977 while living in Honolulu, Hawaii. Throughout the next 16 years he organized and maintained three dance clubs in Honolulu and was a frequent guest caller around the islands. After relocating to the mainland, he organized and maintained dance clubs in Davenport and Preston, Iowa and was a frequent guest caller for dances in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and Missouri. Several years ago Naaman relocated to western Colorado and declared himself to be retired from the work demands which kept him on the road for so many years. It was soon thereafter that he picked up his mike, dusted off his records and rekindled his passion for calling. He is currently the club caller for the Delta Hub Wheelers (Delta, CO); the Black Canyon Twirlers (Montrose, CO); and his own Plus Club, the High Desert Diamonds, which he recently started and which dances the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month in Grand Junction, CO.

Christina is 16 years old. She has been square dancing for 5 years. She called her first singing call at her Mainstream class graduation. Plus dancing was added to her repertoire while staying in Japan. She now dances MS through A2. Last year (2005) was her first time calling at the National Square Dance Convention outside of exhibitions and she continues to improve her calling skills.

Ron is one of only a few Modern Western callers who bridges the gap between CALLERLAB sanctioned programs and his own unique Community Dance Programs. Always presented with first-timers encouraged to participate, program variety is accomplished by varying the dance formations. With a presentation that includes a blend of traditional square dances, modern western square dances, Appalachan Big Circle dances, New England contras, circle mixers, couple dances, and an occasional English Country dance, Ron makes it fun and easy for everyone.

I started calling in 1998. I have fun at my dances mixing the old with the new. Most of the comments I receive are, "you play different music then most." I have called is some unusual locations, the top of Mt. Evans in Colorado at over 14,000 feet, 200 feet below ground at Wind Cave in South Dakota, the Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado, on stage at Mt. Rushmore along with various other locations. I love to try different things with my groups. We have done Hashtag dancing, Dutch crossing, and others. I am the club caller for Ridge Runners in Conifer, Colorado, and also travel where ever I am hired to do a dance. My wife and I enjoy traveling in our RV to visit, see, and enjoy other areas. I truly believe Square Dancing is Friendship Set to Music.

Jeff is a Callerlab member and has been calling & teaching since 1980. Jeff calls and teaches Mainstream, Plus, & Advanced He calls for several weekends each year and most other times find him traveling both in and out of the state. Jeff is a third generation caller who calls "For the fun of it."

It was my pleasure about three years ago to cue for a big two-club combined dance; it was my biggest crowd ever, and it went well. Also got to cue for an out-of-town (not really too terribly far away) club's New Year's Eve Dance. It too went very well.
