I have been a square dance caller for the past 20 years. My wife and I do some calling together and I call mainstream and plus as well as level 2 rounds. We belong to the Belles & Beaus Square Dance Club in Omaha. I am past President of the Nebraska State Callers and Cuers Association and am the President of the Omaha Callers & Cuers Association. Our best friends are from the square dance activity. Its the best. As the slogan goes, "LIVE LIVELY, SQUARE DANCE"

I am a Regional Caller for the Mid-West Area. I have been calling for 16 years and have called at the Missouri state festivals for the past 12 years, missing only one. I have introduced and written an article on "Fast Track" lessons. I have called and taught the "ABC Program" for 6 years. I love to travel and give other areas a chance to hear a different program and caller.

I began calling in 1976 as a teenager. I call through A2 and travel primarily on weekends. I call several weekends and festivals each year. My real job is in Marketing and I am now doing a lot of caller/dance leader workshops and clinics as well as calling.

Calling for 30+ years, I travel throughout Nebraska and have called in the surrounding states, in Rochester, New York, at the National in Salt Lake City and in Hawaii. I was on the calling staff for the Buggy Stomp in Laramie, Wyoming for four years, called the Hays Kansas Snowball Weekend in 1999 and 2000, was the featured caller at the Lincoln Festival in 1997 and 2005 and called the Spring Festivals for the Western federation in Nebraska in 2006 and in York Nebraska in 2010 and was the featured caller for the Aces & Eights Wild West Weekend in Deadwood South Dakota in 2010. I call for the Windmill City Plus Club in Axtell on the second Saturday of each month, and am a regular caller for the Kearney, NE Flutterwheels, the Minden, NE Pioneer Promenaders, and the Hastings, NE Westernairs.

I am a retired design engineer but still keep busy taking care of the old farmstead where we live and I still have a million things to fix and repair. Now that I am retired from my "day" job and don't have a daily schedule, We are able to do more traveling with my "preferred profession" of calling.
