Started calling in 1996. Club caller for the Capitol Squares (A2) in Richmond, VA and The Square Edges (Plus) in Newport News, VA. Has recorded records for both Crown Records and Royal Records.

I started calling in 1999 after attending callers school in Sturbridge, Mass. I also attended callers school in Charlotte,N.C. preceeding the nat'l. convention. I have been the club caller for Colonial Squares of Colonial Heights for 12 years and Square Pegs of Burgess for 2 years. I call on a regular basis for the Happy Wanderers square dance camping club, Lake of the Woods, and Tuckahoe Squares. I teach Tuckahoe Squares new dancers classes. I am a member of Callerlab, RSARDA, and VASCA.

Jim Kline began Square Dancing in 1963. He graduated from college with a Bachelor of Music Education and became a school band director, working for 11 years. Completing his Master in Education Degree with a Counseling Major, Jim was a Middle School Counselor for 19 years and a computer teacher for 5. He is now retired and resides in Smithfield, Virginia. Jim records and arranges music for Double M Records and is the club cuer for the Thumpers Square Dance Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Caller for the Grand Squares of Woodbridge, VA as well as other local groups. Called at 3 Nationals, several Virginia State Conventions and various local festivals and class level dances. Attended Randy Page Caller's School. Received Cardinal Award of Excellence from the Virginia Callers Association.
