I started square and round dancing in 1994 and began cueing in 2003. My teaching partner, Rob Wood and I teach a weekly workshop in phases 4-6, our Carousel Club #354. I cue with Denise Schmidt for G&G Rounders and teach her classes when she travels. I cue a once a month dance party (phases 3-5) here in Anchorage. Members of Roundalab, DRDC and ICBDA.

I just moved to Alaska summer of 2009. I've been a Round Dance Cuer & Roundalab member for 3 years 2007-2009. I'm working on learning to Square Dance call also, would like to start a Round Dancing & Square Dance Club on the Peninsula. I have danced in Washington State since I was 8 yrs old. Danced in competition as a teen. As a Adult I danced in Olympia WA, belonging to 3 clubs. Cued for 3 clubs in Washington State. The Wagon Wheels in Kent (Main-stream), Square Ones in Olympia (Plus) and Double A's Olympia (A1-A2). I'm looking forward to being a active person in the Alaska Square & Round Dancing community. Update information: We are having Square & Round Dance lessons on Thursday nights 6:30-9:00 in the Ninilchik Senior Center. We are having Round Dancing at the Soldotna Senior Center on Monday afternoons 12:45-2:30.

Calling since 1968, cueing since 1978, Member Anchorage Callers & Cuers Association as well as Callerlab and past member Roundalab.

Have taught at Nationals and USA West. Have written songs. Background: ice skating instructor, ballroom and round dance instructor, jazz and ballet.

I started teaching square dancers in the fall of 2003. I call/teach plus square dances on Tuesdays for the Prospector Square Dance Club in Fairbanks, AK. I am also the stand in caller for the Santa Swingers Square Dance Club in Fairbanks, AK. I currently teach basics and mainstream square dances for all who are interested. I am available for dance parties and work with the Later Day Saints, 4H, Girl Scouts and several other organizations in the Fairbanks/North Pole area.
