Started calling in 1981. Currently club caller for 3 clubs in Kansas and Missouri. Enjoy calling DBD at both mainstream and plus level. Known for vocal imitations. I feel dancers have to win and fun is the name of the game.

I am taking bookings for this year, and into the future. I am looking forward to calling for your group from Basic - A2. I also call D.B.D. I call for 1 local Club in the Metro Detroit area, a Advanced Level Club, with alternating tips for the Plus Program. I've been calling since 1975, mostly in the Metro Detroit area, but more recently I have been calling in the eastern Ohio area near Cleveland, and I'm interested in booking dances in other states in the Midwest region of the U.S.

Mel currently travels to call and teaches square dance callers providing on-line mentoring as well as teaching seminars and workshops. He writes for and assists in the publication of Behind the Mike Magazine.

Mel has been calling since 1982 in Lahr Germany whilst serving in the Canadian Forces. After retiring from the Military after 25 years, he moved to Australia where he married his wife, Helen.

Mel believes strongly in teaching and developing the skills of callers to build a foundation that can develop into a caller that is focused on the success and enjoyment of the dancers and the activity as a whole.

We lead two round dance clubs:
(1) TOUCH OF CLASSICS (ICBDA Carousel Clubs Chapter #34), Phase 5 and 6 round dancing at the Hayloft Barn, 232 Podunk Road, Sturbridge, MA, most Sundays year-round, 1 - 5pm, assisted by Dave Goss & Ulla Figwer (Directions, map, and special event flyers at www.hayloftsteppers.org; hall phone: 508 347-9130).
(2) Merry-Go-Rounds, mostly Phase 4 & 5, dancing most Thursday evenings, 7;30-10pm, at South Congregational Church, 45 Maple St., Springfield, MA.

Cue regularly for one A2 club and several area M/+ clubs, and various square dance weekends. Teach at several round dance weekends annually.

Have been calling since 1965. Record on Lamon and Silver Sounds. Have two gold records. Fun Caller and enjoy people.

Have been teaching at the Do Sa Dos' for two years and cueing when Bruce calls the dance. Started teaching in 1974 and enjoy it very much but just like the square dance rounds.

I am the Club Caller for Levi’s and Lace Plus Club in Wichita Falls, TX. I am a member of the Oklahoma State Caller and Cuer Association, Texas State Callers Association, and North Texas Callers Association. I enjoy calling all over my home State and adjoining States. I have been calling since 1999.

I'm a firm believer that "Everyone can dance!" and I make it my mission to bring dancing to groups of non-dancers, wherever they are. I specialize in one-off events for beginners, e.g., wedding receptions, birthday parties, bat mitzvah celebrations, church and community events, events for students, anywhere people want a good time dancing together. I'm the house dance caller for the monthly 3rd Saturday barn dances at Pie Ranch. Most of the time I bring a live band with me to my events.

I first learned to sq dance in 1989 since then I have learn to dance Basic, Mainstream, Plus, and Advance. I started calling and cueing in 1993. I call Basic, Mainstream, and Plus level dances. I call for the Harbor Haylofters, and Prairie Steppers. The Haylofters dance in Aberdeen, WA at the Legion Hall on 100 blk of W First St. the first Sat of the month: pre-rounds start at 7:30 and mainstream at 8:00 until 10:30 with a plus tip at the break. The Prairie Steppers Dance at the Oakview Grange the 2nd Sat of the month and start the dance at 7:30 with a half hour of Plus and the Mainstream dance follows until 10:30 with a break. I am a member of Callerlab and have also been a member of ACA. I try to bring high energy and excitement to every dance I call no matter if it's 1 square or 15. I try very hard to keep the dancers dancing and smiling. I love square dancing and hope to be doing in the next 50 years.

I have 2 caller run clubs: 1. Every Thursday, (M/S & Plus), Northside Promenaders at Zillmere in Brisbane, Qld., Aus. 2. Every Monday, (Plus), UpBeat Chaos at Deception Bay, just north of Brisbane, Qld., Aus. I've been calling since 1993. Dancing should always be fun - Every dance night should be a party night. I am Vice President of the Queensland Callers Association and a member of the Australian Callers Federation. I am also on the Callerlab Mainstream & Plus committees.

We have been cueing and teaching since 2000. We do festivals and weekends. We are members of Roundalab, URDC, and DRDC. I started dancing and going to events with my dad in 1973. I started calling one night stands in 1985. I was taught by my dad George Wiseman who was a caller for more than 47 years before he passed away. I have called for events at Conner Prairie, church groups, library programs, football teams, family gatherings, girl scouts, home school groups and at an American Legion. I am the Yodelin' Engineer and do annual Train Dances for several clubs. I travel mostly in the Eastern US but will go anywhere. Smooth dancing and good timing are my strong suit.

We enjoy teaching dancers (levels 2-4)& try to hold classes each year. We have held a ROUND-A-BOUT workshop/clinic session for the past 4 years in Osawatomie, KS on the first Saturday in October. This is a 9AM - 4PM clinic.

Partner Bob retired from SD calling after 30 years. We have been RD since 1983 and enjoy all rhythms and phases of dancing together and started teaching in 1984. We now have a monthly Carousel Club #329. We also teach social dancing to teens and adults[incorporating at least one round dance] for the YMCA and employee wellness groups. Members of URDC and DRDC, we enjoy writing Choreography. Round Dance Program Directors for USAWest, Boise 2002. Bob maintains a website for dance in Idaho and "Weavers List".

I've been calling to all sorts of groups at the level they can succeed. My wife assists me at the dances with various harmonies and other things. We've doing this sort of thing for more than 25 years.
