My purpose in calling dances is to create events that bring people together, build community and teach traditional values and etiquette. I host and call dances for Civil War Balls that are primarily for families and youths. I also call dances for hoedowns, weddings, school programs, living history reenactments and other private events. My focus is on historical dances, so I am not your typical modern-day square dance caller or round dance caller. I combine various quadrilles, circle dances, longways dances along with some polkas and waltzes to create unique historical events.

Have been calling more that 20 years. Presently call for Mariposa's Bootjack Stompers. I am happy to travel distances to call. I have worked with elementary, junior high, and high school students.

I started calling club dances in 1989. I have served as the club caller for the Marion Chain Gang, (Marion, Illinois), the Salem Promenaders (Salem, Illinois) and currently share the Club Caller responsibilities for the Centralia Squares (Centralia, Illinois. I am a full member of Callerlab and previously recorded for both Mar-Let Records and Chicago Country Records before I established my own label - Miracle Records in 2005. As a traveling caller, I currently call approximately 30 club dances, a special dances and at 1 or 2 state festivals per year. Most of my dances are in Illinois and the adjacent states of eastern Missouri, western Indiana and southern Wisconsin. Our calling philosophy is a rather simple one - help the dancers succeed while entertaining them.

I started cueing rounds in 2014 in response to the need for more round cuers. I now cue most styles and levels of dances. Square dance calling: I call through A1, teach through plus and prefer to call fast-track (hot hash) mainstream and plus. Round dance cueing: I cue two-step, waltz, foxtrot, slow two-step, cha, tango, jive, humba, and bolero through Phase 4. I will cue higher level dances with advance notice. Dan starting square dancing in 1978 (age 12) and called his first dance in 1979. Dan loves to teach basic through C1 and calls them on a weekly basis as part of his home program in MN. He also cues rounds through phase 3 and does a lot of party dances. He is a full member of CALLERLAB and serves on several committees. Dan is actively involved in his regional and state callers associations doing many seminars, clinics and schools for new callers. I starting calling Square Dances @ the Tues. Night Square Dance, Phila., Pa. (1990-2005). I mostly do One Nighters, now. They are usually for social groups, clubs, athletic org., etc. and usually are beginners, who require a 'lot of instruction and patience'. I added Country/Western Line Dancing to my schedule of dances. These dances can be done by beginners. I like to stay in the Phila, Pa. area, but I'll travel. Dancing is fun!

I started my calling career in 1972. Square dancing has been a huge part of my life. George and I have moved into a retirement complex in Pennsylvania called Ann's Choice in July of 2007. We plan on teaching a class here in September and filling in for club dances in the area when needed.

We cue for Paws and Taws in Seneca on club nights and teach Choreographed ballroom (Round) dancing in Seneca Sc on Tuesday evenings from April through Mid October. We offer beginning levels (phase II and III) and advanced (phase IV and V). We stay in Plant City Florida from Late October Until April and teach phase II through IV various days of the week and have Round dances most Sunday afternoons.

Joe and Peggy have been calling and cueing since 1975, starting in Europe and moving to the US in 1988. Currently they live in South Carolina.

Tim grew up in a square dance family and began dancing in his early teens. In 1974, at age 15, Tim began calling and has been actively calling ever since. Tim calls and teaches lessons at all programs Basic through A-2. Tim currently calls an average of 260 dances annually both locally in his home area and throughout the United States. Tim is known for his energetic, lively, and exciting style of calling while using a wide variety of calls and musical styles. He makes the simplest choreography interesting while successfully moving dancers through complex and unusual choreography. He is known for his quick wit, humor, and ability to keep dancers laughing, and for his unique performances of specialty songs and his parody of songs. He specializes in calling for youth square dance groups and square dance parties for youth and adult non-square dance groups. Tim works regularly with several home school organizations, as well as public schools and both youth and adult church groups. Tim also does old time traditional calling. In his home area, Tim teaches beginner lessons every year, and has been very successful in recruiting and retaining new dancers, and in building strong clubs. Tim is currently on staff for several square dance weekends throughout the country. Tim has been and is featured caller for numerous national, state, and regional conventions and festivals Tim has served on numerous panels and clinics at Callerlab and National Square Dance Conventions. He is training committee chairman of the East Texas Callers Association, and also conducts caller seminars/clinics for other caller organizations around the country. Tim also presents seminars and clinics on variety of topics for square dance clubs and associations. He is a charter member and lifetime member of the East Texas Callers Association, member of Texas State Callers Association, and has been a member of Callerlab since 1981. In 2010 Tim was awarded the Texas State Callers Association Prestige Award and in 2013 was inducted into the Texas Callers Hall of Fame. Tim and his wife, Sissy, also round dance, are former clogging instructors and owned/operated a square dance apparel shop for over twenty years. Tim and Sissy began square dancing together in high school and were charter members of the East Texas Teen Twirlers, a teen square dance club, of which Tim was also club caller.

I began dancing in 1979 in Redmond Oregon and have been hooked ever since. I started cueing in 1982 for the Lebanon Square Circlers in Lebanon Oregon. Since then I cued for several clubs in Oregon. In Washington, I cued for Gig Harbor Twirlers, Strait Wheelers in Port Angeles, and the Red Hot Twirlers in Chimacum. When I started dancing with the Strait Wheelers, I recognized the caller and upon investigation, I found I had danced with him in Albany Oregon when I was still there. Small world! I began calling in 2002 for the Red Hot Twirlers and taught the classes there for several years, both calling and cueing. I have done numerous one night stands, the reoccurring one for the City of Port Townsend for their New Year's Eve Festival. I began clogging in 2000 and taught the next year but have not kept that up. I love music and dancing. I also love sharing what I love with those around me. I am currently calling and cueing for the Strait Wheelers Club in Port Angeles.

Originally from the Sheboygan area, moved to North Central Wisconsin 18 years ago; but recently moved to Central Wisconsin to a farm not far from Wisconsin Dells. Will travel occasionally. Called for various clubs over the years - more recently the Gateway Squares in Antigo. Past convention chairman. Worked on many Wisconsin conventions and one National convention in St. Paul, MN. Also taught square dancing in schools. Mostly involved with MWSD, but also call with live music for one night stands (traditional squares and contra).
