I am presently Calling for the Chilliwack Rhythm Reelers mainstream and plus I have called for events and special weekends for several Canadian and U.S. Square Dance clubs.

The Sussex Corner Club meets every Friday evening in season at 7.30 pm. The Club accepts new dancers at any time who will be included in the evening's dance program although not in every dance. The club likes to see new people with a partner, but singles may come and watch. The Club dances at " The Centre", --- next to the United Church. at 3 Needle Street. The Club, has no Slogan, but if it had one it would be, ------ HAVE FUN!!!

I am no longer calling, but am making slideshow videos for various record label companies. As I am handicapped and don't walk too good anymore. I am doing this for all record labels or callers that want a special video done for the record or CD that they have done in the past. I only record the called side to promote square dancing. If you go onto Facebook under the square dance group you will see 5 videos that I have done for Blue Star with Buddy Weaver's permission to post them. I call for a Club my wife and I created in 1999 called the Admiral Dancers, our club dances Saturday evenings 8-10 pm in Digby Nova Scotia. Also I have started a Childrens group of 4-6 graders , dancing Thursday evenings,at a local school. I've been calling for 7 years. I belong to MECCA ( Maritime Callers and Cuers Association), ANSSART (Association of Nova Scotia Square and Round Dance Teachers). I really enjoy working with children and have worked with a Handicappable group also. Also I enjoy regular club night bookings, festivals,conventions ,Weddings, Christmas Parties, Fun Nights. I create a good night out, both challenging and fun.

Dave and Claudia started dancing in 1994. Dave made the life-changing decision to take up calling in 2005, and became Strathmore’s club caller in 2008. In addition, Dave teaches new dancers for a club in Calgary and calls/teaches part-time for a club in Rocky Mountain House. He uses Dale Bennett’s innovative new dancer program called “The Nest” – a program that offers weekly entry points and accommodates dancer absences and different learning paces. Dave enjoys calling for special occasions such as weddings, birthday and anniversary parties, staff parties, summer camps and other special events. Claudia started cueing rounds in 2008. She teaches 1/2 hour of rounds for two clubs, prior to the start of each square dance evening to anyone who wants to learn basic two-step or waltz steps. She is actively involved in promoting square and round dancing. Claudia is the editor of the “Alberta Chatter” newsletter, which provides promotion and marketing ideas, shines a light on people in the dance community, and provides history and general information about our much loved activity. Kevin started calling in 1974 as a teenager. Since then he has moved on to becoming one of Canada's most recongnized international callers. After dancing for 18 years, Wendy started calling in January 2001, being urged many times because of her lovely singing voice. She is the regular caller for Meri Squares (teaching SSD), Ottawa Date Squares (SSD and Plus), and Square Dance Ottawa (a monthly intro dance for non-square dancers). Wendy has called in 6 US States and 3 Canadian Provinces. She’s also called at many US and Canadian Nationals. She loves doing Party Nights, introducing people to Modern Square Dancing and just giving them a fun time. Wendy has recorded 5 singing calls with Sharpshooter and 1 with Hipster Productions.
