Betsy has been calling since 1961, teaching callers schools since 1973 and calls all programs from Basic thru C3. She is a founding member of the Callers Council of NJ, has 2 caller-run clubs and calls and teaches for 3 local dancer-run clubs. Betsy has called and taught caller schools throughout the US, Canada, & Europe. At the 2001 IAGSDC Convention she received the Golden Boot Award, and in 2006 she received CALLERLAB's highest honor, the Milestone Award. At the 2012 NDSC in Spokane, WA, the National Executive Committee honored Betsy for her dedication to the square dance activity and for calling at 50 consecutive National Square Dance Conventions. In 2016 she received the Lifetime Membership Gold Card for her service to CALLERLAB. Betsy has recorded for County Line, Desert Gold, and Gold Rush Records and has produced a series of square dance instructional videos.
