I have been calling for 25+ years. I call for 2 clubs on a weekly basis. I have taught in the continuing education program on several occasions. I do one night stands without the help of experienced dancers. Although I do not call the Advanced program, the wife and I did dance it for a period of time. I entertain at retirement homes by singing classic country songs for those beyond their dancing years. I believe a square dance is as much a social event as a dance event, and a square dance club should be part of your personal support group.
