Modern Western Cars

Are you looking for a GOOD time?  Then YOU want a Modern Western Car!  These automobiles are INTERESTING!  No one wants a PREDICTABLE car.  Everyone enjoys a well-designed SURPRISE.

Your Modern Western Car is FULL of surprises!  For example, stepping on the Brake Pedal might actually work the Turn Signal.  The Turn Signal might really open the Back Door.  Opening the Back Door might honk the Horn.  Honking the Horn could engage the Ejection Seat.  Isn't it WONDERFUL?  It's not the SAME old THING every time!  Best of all, after you solve the puzzle of how to operate your car TODAY, by TOMORROW it might be completely different!!  Yes, a Modern Western Car is NEVER dull and boring!

Not just ANYONE can drive a car like this.  It takes someone SPECIAL.  You must first understand the definitions for hundreds of driving maneuvers.  It's best if you learn to drive from ALL positions.  The definitions are available from DRIVERLAB.  The REAL fun comes from studying the quirks, nuances and shades of meaning in the definitions.

Your Driving Instructor has studied for YEARS and is familiar with ALL the fine print.  He delights in finding small obscure insignificant "gotcha's" in the definitions (such as, can your car Roll after a certain maneuver).  Then he likes to make a big deal out of 'em.  Back in your school days, didn't you just LOVE to take TESTS?  With a Modern Western Car, you can constantly TEST your knowledge of the definitions.

IF (and ONLY if) you have studied your definitions, your car can successfully execute a sequence.  Then your instructor will be considered CREATIVE.  If you fail to do the sequence properly, your instructor is still CLEVER, but YOU will be thought of as a POOR DRIVER.

Hmm, it seems like the INSTRUCTOR always wins.  But please do NOT think this way.  Modern Driving is NON-COMPETITIVE.  It doesn't matter WHO wins (as long as it's the instructor) or WHO loses (as long as it's not the instructor).  What matters is that with a Modern Western Car you get to constantly stretch your abilities and test your skills.  Often, you'll be made to feel like a complete idiot.  Doesn't this sound like FUN?

Let's agree it takes a long time to learn how to drive properly, and you can only get into driving lessons ONCE a year, and there are many levels of driving skill, and it's hard to find a place for beginners to drive, and new drivers are NOT welcome on the roads.  But don't let any of THAT stop you.  We badly NEED new drivers!  But we don't need 'em badly enough to actually HELP 'em learn to drive.  And we certainly don't want to drive on the same ROAD as new drivers.

All we're asking is for YOU to spend MONTHS learning to drive, and MORE months becoming GOOD at driving.  Then and only then will you be welcome to drive with experienced drivers.

It's NOT that existing drivers have anything AGAINST new drivers.  We're just so busy learning exotic driving skills that we don't have TIME to fool with new drivers.  Driving with new drivers might diminish our high level of skill, and it took a LONG time for us to become as GOOD as we are.  We sure don't wanna lose any PROFICIENCY.

I'm telling you this because you have an honest right to know why it APPEARS that experienced drivers AVOID newcomers.  It's not that we don't LIKE you or NEED you.  It's just that we simply don't want anything to DO with you.

NO ONE will help you learn to drive, and NO ONE will drive with you until AFTER you are proficient.  Becoming a good driver is something YOU must do all by YOURSELF.  But AFTER you are FINALLY a good driver, EVERYONE will want you to join THEIR driving club.

(Editorial note:  After Careful Consideration, it was concluded that discussing the special CLOTHES you have to wear while driving your car is TOO controversial of a topic.  So it's not even MENTIONED here, at ALL). :-)

Is this an incredible deal, or what?  Learn to drive all by yourself, and then we just MIGHT drive with you (if we haven't gone up several skill levels by then).  So, what are you waiting for?  It's gonna take YEARS for you to become a decent driver, so you need to go ahead and get STARTED.  Let us know if and when you ever finish driving lessons.
