THEIR first program of square dancing is named SQUARE DANCING. Let's improve it by CHANGING the name to BASIC.
THEIR first program is teachable (from standard applications) in ten weeks. This makes it too easy to become a square dancer. Let's DOUBLE their teach time and recommend that they teach Extended Applications from day one.
The SECOND program on FEERA CHAYNJA is very popular. It is teachable (from standard applications) in ten additional weeks. Let's REALLY help THIS program. Let's TRIPLE the teach time by adding MORE calls and MORE complexity. Then let's take the resulting program and BUST it up into two separate pieces, named MAINSTREAM and PLUS. Then let's apply these programs differently in different parts of THEIR planet, to make it extremely DIFFICULT for them to ever CHANGE things.
THEY have 75 to 80 calls on their first two lists. Let's HELP them, by adding 20 to 25 calls. THEIR extended applications are in a separate THIRD program. Let's DO AWAY with their third program and force ALL dancers to learn Extended Applications from the beginning.
AFTER we have given them lots of complexity and LENGTHY class times, FEERA CHAYNJA's square dancing can grow and prosper.

The point is that if square dancing had already been what Target 2000 describes, there is NO WAY we would change it BACK to what square dancing is today. Target 2000 is clearly an improved product. There is only ONE reason NOT to change from what square dancing is today (a GOOD product) to Target 2000 (a BETTER product). That one reason is FEAR OF CHANGE.
Well, that reason isn't GOOD enough. Square dancers are the best people in the galaxy. They deserve leaders who are motivated by factors OTHER than FEAR.
It's a proven fact that other planets exist. Is there any way to know for a FACT if square dancing exists on other planets? Is there any way to KNOW if one of these planets is really named FEERA CHAYNJA?
