 General Information
-
A short sequence is often used as the first or last sequence of a tip.
-
Short sequences accessed by this page were automatically generated by the
Ceder Square Dance System.
The program simply matched records from its getin and getout databases.
-
Because the sequences were automatically generated, please check for the following
potential problems before using them:
-
Acceptable flow. A generated sequence may have obnoxious flow
(e.g., 'Right & Left Thru' followed by 'Wheel Thru').
-
Hand availabilty. A generated sequence may have dancers using the same hand
twice in a row
(e.g., 'Square Thru 3' followed by 'Dixie Grand').
-
Overflow. A generated sequence may contain adjacent movements that makes the dancers dizzy
(e.g., 'Fan The Top' followed by 'Acey Deucey 1 & 1/2').
-
Appropriate Level. Due to the way that the program assigns levels to calls, a particular
sequence may actually belong at a higher level. This is because some calls are listed on more than
one level. For example 'Extend' is listed on both the
Mainstream list and the
Plus list.
In these cases, the program always assigns the level of the sequence to the lower of the two levels.
The following calls are affected:
