Download Lyrics from the Record Database.

Follow the instructions below to import lyrics into your CSDS Music Database.

Lyrics are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Lyrics are subject to all U.S. copyright laws and remain property of their respective owners.

Instructions

If your CSDS computer is connected to the web,

1. Run CSDS
2. From the main menu, select Music | Lyrics Database;
3. Select File | Auto update from web;
4. Wait for completion, then close the Lyrics Database window;
5. From the main menu, select Music | Edit Music Database;
6. Select Edit | Upgrade cue sheets and lyrics from Database...;
7. Enter other fields as appropriate, then click 'OK'.
8. Wait for completion, then close the Edit Music Database window;

Otherwise, if your CSDS computer is not connected to the web,

1. Download and save lyrics data to your CSDS computer.

   • CSDS 1.22.04 or later recommended.

   • A thru M -- 987 lyrics  (23-March-2008)  [1.15 MB]
   • N thru Z -- 710 lyrics  (23-March-2008)  [880.73 KB]
2. Run CSDS, then do the following two tasks:
   1. Update the lyrics database
      1. From the main menu, select Music | Lyrics Database;
      2. Select File | Update from web file;
      3. Enter the downloaded filename for the 'Source file';
      4. Enter other fields as appropriate, then click 'OK';
      5. Close the lyrics database window.
   2. Update lyrics within the music database
      1. From the main menu, select Music | Edit Music Database;
      2. Select Edit | Upgrade cue sheets and lyrics from Database...;
      3. Enter other fields as appropriate, then click 'OK'.
