 Spin A Cocoon

Definition:

From a static square: Heads (or Sides) start a Spin the Top. After the first half arm turn the new ends and the outside two make a "web" star and turn it once and a quarter while the new centers arm turn 3/4 by the left. The person behind the active one in the web star goes to the center and trades places with the centers who did the 3/4 arm turn. Web stars turn exactly once around while the inside two do an arm turn 3/4 and U-turn back to become the centers of the middle wave. The new "person behind" in the web stars walks into the center, veering left to become ends of the middle wave. Outside people individually turn to face the center of the set. Finishes in a one-quarter tag formation.

Fred Whiteford 1968
