 Split The Loop

Definition:

From eight chain thru or completed double pass thru formation: Center two split the outside two, separate and loop around to end in original position (and facing the same way). Outside two (after they are split) California Twirl. Finishes in completed double pass thru when begun from eight chain thru and vice versa.

COMMENT: A usable movement except the idea was incorporated in other moves like Boomerang and Zoom. The latter names caught on rather than this one.

Dave Smith 1969
