 Scoot Chain The Boat

Definition:

From parallel waves: Those facing in step ahead and Swing Thru (or Left Swing Thru) then Turn Thru (or Left Turn Thru), as those facing out step ahead, separate and walk around the outside, passing one dancer and meeting partner on the opposite side where they Pass In and all step into a wave. Right hand waves remain right hand waves and left hand waves remain left hand waves. Other starting formation: From double pass thru formation, the outsides separate; ditto for Trade By formation. From lines with centers facing in and ends facing out, the ends step forward, then Divide.

Gus Greene 1971
