Fan CONCEPT は 始めが Arm Turn 1/2 (Swing) で, 次が Centers Cast Off 3/4 のコールに使われます. 始めの Arm Turn 1/2 をしないで, 与えられたコールを行います.

Fan CONCEPT が使われる代表的な例:

• Fan CONCEPT は 'Spin The Top' と 'Fan The Top' の違いを一般化したものです.
• 'Spin' で始まるコールでは, 'Spin' を 'Fan' に変えます (例えば, Spin Chain the Gears は Fan Chain the Gears となります). 他のコールでは 'Fan' をコールの前に入れます (例えば, Alter the Wave は Fan Alter the Wave となります).
• 上記に示したコールは, 向かい合った Setup (Eight Chain Thru または向かい合った Line) からも行えます. その場合は, Step To A Wave をしてからコールを行います.
• コーラーは Fan any call の代わりに, Finish any call ともコールできます.
• Although at first glance, you may think that Fan can always be replaced by Finish, this is not so. The "facing couples / ocean wave" rule applies to the Fan concept but not the Finish concept. For example, from an Eight Chain Thru formation, Fan Relay The Top is legal, whereas Finish Relay The Top is not.

Fan Alter The Wave:         Fan Alter The Wave の前   Centers Arm Turn 3/4 as Ends U-Turn Back の後   Counter Rotate 1/2 の後   Flip The Diamond の後 (終わり)

Fan Chain Thru:         Fan Chain Thru の前   Centers Cast Off 3/4 の後   Very Centers Trade の後   Centers Cast Off 3/4 の後 (終わり) (ときには Ends にとって, とても難しくなります!)

Fan Relay The Shadow:       Fan Relay The Shadow の前   Center 6 Step To A Wave and Arm Turn 3/4 as Very Ends Counter Rotate 1/4 の後   Centers Hinge and spread apart as Others do the Centers Part of Cast A Shadow の後 (終わり)
